For testing lighting circuits on both vehicles and trailers/caravans. Plugs direct into either 7-pin N-type plug or socket and gives a continuity test on all lighting circuits. Requires one 9V battery (not included) (storl.224x58,5mm). Don't work if the car has Canbus system.
Test the car:
Connect the tester to the vehicle socket. Turn the ignition on. The lights on the tester lights up if the function is ok.
Test the trailer:
Connect the tester to the trailer socket. Press the yellow test button. The lights on the tester lights up if the function is ok.
When testing LED lights, fog lights testing may not work because it uses too little power. Check the fog lights manually.
